Timewatch - The Last Tomb Raider, Giovanni Belzoni, a 6 feet 7 inch Italian circus strong man, entered Egypt and started to take artefacts from tombs for the British Museum. Despite his often crude and aggressive ways of getting into tombs, which today would be considered sacrilege in the Egyptology community, Belzoni was one of the forerunners of what became the science of archaeology.
Aired on the BBC in 2003 and produced by Atlantic Productions in association with Discovery and the BBC.
