Something different for a change! I was at World Super Bikes at Phillip Island for the 2014 round and took the opportunity to bring some gear down with me. Took the Sony A7, LA-EA4 and the 70-200mm G lens and got a decent amount of shots off.
This guide is pretty short and is really a pre-amp for those who have never been to a motor sports event. It takes a while to get use to the full set of skills required for this type of photography, deep pockets are also a must as some of the zoom lenses can end up competing with second hand cars for cost.
